About Us

Training for Care is a charity, voluntary organisation and company limited by guarantee established in 1982. We are based in Edinburgh and deliver training throughout Scotland.

Our Purpose
Training for the adult and child care sectors: raising standards of care through training. See vocational training and short courses.
Helping young people to find out whether social care is the right career for them. See school to work.
Training for all: contributing to people's ability to protect and improve their own and others' health at work and outside work: First Aid, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Ergonomics.
