Scottish Seabird Centre Photography Awards 2009

Had a great night at the awards in North Berwick. Standard and quantity of entries improves every year which makes the judging more challenging. I think Laurie Campbell and me make for a balanced panel although time is an issue for both of us. let's hope things go from strength to strength.Now that the worst of the Big Freeze is behind us I am looking forward to Spring and warmer days. As I get older I value the sun's warmth even more.   We have now used Graham Riddell for several years to take the photographs. He has always been most helpful and provides us with some very good action photographs as well as portrait types. These are delivered quickly and professionally and have been used both by the subjects and also by local media and for our publicity purposes. He is booked again for our events next year!

  I didnt meet Graham until the photo shoot but found him very easy to deal with both before and afterwards especially in the matter of choosing a family photo that all 12 adults were happy with! He was very patient and provided a very efficient service.

  I have several of Graham Riddell's excellent photographs and have used his services for mounting and framing also. His cards and calendars are unique. If you want to break away from the boring and mundane then GR Photography is for you. Quality, delivery and friendly service are excellent. Website worth a look. I would most certainly use this photographer again and again. What could he do better ? Have more confidence in his natural talent.
