Brief business description
The Citadel Youth Centre is a voluntary youth organisation that has been providing youth work services and support for children, young people and families since 1980 in the wider Leith area. The Citadel has seven full time staff and a committed team of part time and volunteer staff supporting the youth club programme.Citadel services respond directly to the needs expressed by children, young people and their parents/carers in the local community linking into a network of local agencies including schools, social work, health services and community groups/forums.
The Citadel is managed by its Management Committee that is made up of local parents, professionals and stakeholders. They are responsible for the overall running and development of the Citadel including securing funding from the City of Edinburgh Council and other grant making bodies.
