D & D have been offering a quality private hire taxi service since 1987. We are probably the oldest purely private hire company in Midlothian. Our aim is to provide customers with a friendly and reliable service, in vehicles that are modern, clean, well maintained and air conditioned.

We can provide a range of vehicles, taxis, PH cars, prestige cars, people carriers up to 8 passengers, mini buses and coaches.

We are based in Gorebridge where our cars and drivers, male and female, are fully insured and licenced by Midlothian Council. All drivers have a wealth of local knowledge which they can pass on to you, making your journey as interesting and informative as possible.

We are the only official contractor to provide transport for Dalhousie Castle Hotel "A fascinating 13th century fortress set within acres of wooded parkland on the picturesque banks of the river Esk. "
