Fascinating for all ages

a really big enclosure with well-kept plants, butterflies, fish, terrapins, iguanas (loose!), mud pools and a stream. through the back is an array of cases containing reptiles (some of them huge) and insects. There is a bee walk which is very interesting the warm months, and a dark area containing all the nocturnal creatures. There are also handling sessions with very knowledgable and tolerant staff. we are foster carers and find the butterfly farm a good place to keep all ages of kids happy for a couple of hours.
