My car was broken into the weekend before Christmas. Arnold Clark have had it since then. It's now after Valentines day. There have been delays from the insurance company but the garage have caused most of them through poor time management (assessing the damage in the morning but waiting until 5.30pm on a Friday to attempt to order the parts) and a lack of initiative (when the authorisation from the insurance company "didn't arrive " they did nothing and told no one). I called today to ask when my car would be ready - the receptionist got angry with me for it still being there and hung up on me when I suggested that shouting down the phone at a customer who simply wanted to know how things were progressing showed a bad attitude. My advice is to go to a small garage who value your custom and take pride in making sure their customers are happy - instead of calling them liars and giving them abuse.
